The bag is 11.5" x 4.5" x 3".  It is made from synthetic so it's easy to keep clean, and there's an inside zip pocket for your necessities.  The big twist latch on the front is offset and has a pewter look.  A woman has to have bags in several sizes so that se can carry what she wants, but also so that the bag will not overwhelm the outfit.  This clutch bag has a soft bottom to it so that if you carry it by the handle or trap it under your arm, it won't poke you.  If a purse's material is not stretchy it can be difficult to put your things inside, in order that they won't poke you with any sharp edges.  That won't happen with this little bag.
